We promote cooperation, networking, innovation and mutual exchange of information between cluster members

Bioeconomy Cluster is an association of legal entities established in 2015 with the aim to promote cooperation, networking, innovation and mutual exchange of information between cluster members and other stakeholders in agri-food and bio-based sectors. The members and partners of Bioeconomy Cluster are research centers, agricultural university and SMEs operating in the sector of agriculture, food, forestry and other areas representing wide bioeconomy spectrum. Therefore, the Bioeconomy Cluster has national coverage.

Bioeconomy Cluster connects the entities of knowledge triangle,  promotes knowledge transfer and cooperation of R&D with agri-business. Cluster and its members have broad experience in the implementation of national and international projects (EU Framework Programmes, European Territorial Cooperation, International Visegrad Fund, structural funds, etc.), participate in monitoring committees and working groups at national and EU level, have experience in the area of technology transfer including the establishment of transfer centres. Members of the Cluster have built partnerships with major organisations and institutions at international level (OECD, JRC, etc.).

In November 2019, Bioeconomy Cluster was recertified by the European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis and for the second time it was awarded with the European Cluster Management Excellence label in BRONZE. The certificate is valid until November 2021.
