The first version of the supporting eco-innovation ecosystem map of the Slovak Republic was introduced and it also includes the Bioeconomy Cluster. You can view the map here.
The map includes supporting organizations and tools that can help to interpret the often abstract sustainability goals into practice or organizational processes.
The eco-innovation map contains eleven filters that illustrate and make clear the supporting eco-innovation ecosystem in Slovakia in the following areas:
financial support,
awareness,
education,
research,
development,
consulting,
startup, incubator, accelerator,
clusters, associations and platforms,
technology transfer,
competitions and prizes,
policy development.
There are also elements that do not explicitly address eco-innovation, but can support their development and implementation.
As the eco-innovation ecosystem is a dynamic process and the transition to sustainability and the reduction of adverse environmental impacts are becoming more important every day, new support initiatives and motivational tools will be gradually added to the map.
