The main aim of the project is to develop the strategy of Bioeconomy Cluster for its members, taking into account the challenges and opportunities brought by the concept of Industry 4.0, thereby supporting the growth of competitiveness of cluster members through the development of innovation, intelligent solutions and efficient production processes.

The project is composed of 4 activities. The main activity of the project is the creation of the strategy of BEC which will be focused on the implementation of Industry 4.0 principles in bio-based industries. This activity also includes the creation of an expert database consisting of relevant experts in various areas of bioeconomy from research institutes and universities, SMEs, NGOs, as well as policy makers. It will be used by the cluster members when solving a specific problem.

The other activities include organization of workshop aimed at the potential of using the principles of Industry 4.0 in practice, as well as  participation of representatives of the cluster in international events with the aim to promote BEC and its members and to create international partnerships for future projects.
